Based on pictures I took from a scanning electron microscope, my concentration delves into the minute world and body of a fly. My intention is to expose details that cannot be seen by the naked eye. Each piece introduces the idea that what at first seems abstract is, in reality, tangible. This connection between scientific imagery and art is highlighted through my concentration’s microscopic exploration. In the beginning, the viewer is investigating the fly until the perspective switches and the fly investigates the viewer.
